AEWIN announces the new high performance enterprise-level network control board with optional Ethernet module design: CB-8901.

CB-8901 is designed with advanced Intel® Dual Xeon® processors and Intel® E7520 chipset which supports FSB 800MHz and Intel’s Extended Memory 64-bit Technology (EM64T) for 64bit computing capability. In addition, CB-8900 can support system memory up to 8 GB DDRII memory. PCI-Express technology improves the I/O bandwidth and system total bandwidth up to 32Gbps. CB-8901 offers eight GbE LAN ports with optional bypass Ethernet module on four ports. Designed with the Plug-and-Serve concept in mind, through Intel® 82571EB Ethernet controller, the platform afforded eight Copper or four GbE SFP & four GbE Copper with optional bypass function on 4 ~ 8 ports. The optional rechargeable daughter card for bypass SFP Ethernet module (R-047A) supports SFP bypass up to 3 hours without external power. For system login with monitoring and building control proxy, this board has two SATA connectors onboard, CompactFlash type II socket for software porting by software solution providers. Other features such as two serial ports, two USB 2.0 ports, one parallel port, one E-IDE connector, three digital I/O, watchdog timer and hardware system monitoring. It also supports two 64-bit PMC slot and one Mini PCI slot for further expansion capability.

CB-8901 is perfect for enterprise-level network applications including Antispam, Antivirus, Load balance, Firewall and Unified ThreatManagement. It allows system integrators and software vendors to develop versatile solutions easily.

The RoHS compliant product will be available in end of July. For more information about CB-8901, please visit our website: www.aewin.com.tw or contact our sales representative sales@aewin.com.tw
