The Broadcom NAS media server reference design will enable original design manufacturers (ODMs) and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to add NAS media servers to their product lines. Based on the Broadcom® BCM4780 network attached storage-on-a-chip (NASoC) silicon and Mediabolic’s standards- compliant media server software, the new NAS media server reference design is a low-cost, easy-to-deploy solution that provides the ability to stream music, photo, and video files to a variety of connected entertainment devices throughout the home.
