| Curtiss-Wright Controls Embedded Computing (CWCEC) has introduced a new family of compact, conduction-cooled rugged ATR-style 3U CompactPCI systems. The ultra-compact MPMC-931x family of Multi-Platform Mission Computers, developed by CWCECôs Embedded Systems group in San Diego, CA, comes in five standard configurations. Each of these fully developed system configurations features an integrated 28VDC power supply and either a DCP-124P SBC Power Architecture 7448 single board computer (SBC) or a DCP-1201 Intel® Core 2 Duo SBC. In addition, the MPMC-931x couples these processing capabilities with a variety of I/O modules to meet specific program requirements such as graphics, ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, Gigabit Ethernet Switching, and more. |
| Curtiss-Wright Controls Embedded Computing (CWCEC) has introduced a new 6U five-slot convection-cooled rugged 3/4 ATR-style subsystem, the MPMC-9655 Multi-Platform Mission Computer (MPMC). Developed by CWCEC’s Embedded Systems group in High Wycombe, U.K., the MPMC-9655 can be configured with a 6U VPX, VME or VXS backplane, and features a power supply supporting MIL_STD-704A with 50ms hold-up. This high-performance, compact packaged COTS (PCOTS) subsystem is ideal for system designers that require a non-ITAR-restricted subsystem solution to speed and simplify the development and deployment of rugged embedded applications for the European and APAC markets. |
