Under the new partnering agreement Embedded Planet will become a North American authorized reseller of Abatron Development Tools, including the BDI2000 BDM/JTAG emulator.

With this agreement Embedded Planet can offer their customers a well supported and completely integrated development solution. With the increasing complexity of embedded system designs, delivering integrated debugging systems has become more critical to overall project success and the agreement with Ultimate Solutions increases Embedded Planet’s ability to support their customers’ demands.

The Abatron BDI2000 BDM/JTAG emulator is a flexible and high performance emulator. It supports numerous CPU architectures and features high-speed file download and debug over its Ethernet interface. The BDI2000 supports kernel debugging when an MMU is enabled on the target processor making it a good choice for developers of Linux[] board support packages and device drivers. In addition to Linux development support the BDI2000 can be used for board bring up and supports programming of a wide range of flash devices.
