Forte Design Systems, a leading provider of SystemC high-level synthesis, datapath synthesis and intellectual property (IP), will highlight the latest technologies in its expanding product portfolio at the 47th Design Automation Conference (DAC) in Booth #750.
The DAC exhibit floor will be open June 14-16 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.
Continuously demonstrated will be Forte’s flagship Cynthesizer™ SystemC high-level synthesis software and Cynthesizer Ultra™, along with CellMath™ tools and IP for improving area, power and speed for existing register transfer level (RTL) designs. Newly introduced Cynthesizer Ultra integrates Forte’s high-level SystemC synthesis software with its CellMath product family to create better designs faster.
Forte will host two tutorials in its suites that offer an introduction to high-level synthesis and a case study of a USB 2.0 designed with Cynthesizer by High IP Design Company. Sessions describing Cynthesizer Ultra, CellMath Designer and CellMath IP for RTL design will be offered throughout the week.

Forte continues the yearly tradition of closing DAC with a bagpiper’s performance Wednesday, June 16, at 5:50 p.m. in Booth #750. Its daily drawings will include a giveaway of an Apple iPad and other high-tech gadgets, while a caricature artist will be available Monday through Wednesday in the Forte booth to personalize drawings.
Forte’s Mike Meredith and Gururaj Rao will present “Implementing and verifying an advanced Image Processing design using SystemC, TLM, Virtual platforms and Cynthesizer,” at the Synopsys Standards booth (#585) Tuesday, June 15, from 2-4 p.m.
Additionally, Forte’s Chief Technology Officer John Sanguinetti will participate in a panel titled, “What Input Language is the Best Choice for High-Level Synthesis?” Thursday, June 17, from 4:30-6 p.m. in Room 207. Information can be found at: www.dac.com/.
