Sunnyvale, California, June 15, 2009 – IBASE Technology Inc.(TASDAQ: 8050), a world-leading manufacturer of single board computers and embedded systems, announces the release of the SI-96 — a compact, ultra slim, embedded system designed for digital signage Applications.
The SI-96 is powered by a power efficient Intel® Celeron® M550 2.0GHz processor and the Intel® 965GME chipset. It is capable of supporting dual independent displays at resolutions up to 1080P. The SI-96 can be wall mounted or used as a desktop system.
It features an integral gigabit Ethernet port, quad USB 2.0 interfaces, audio, DVI-I and DVI-D outputs. The system can be configured with up to two gigabytes of DDR2 memory and a choice of either a hard drive or a Compact Flash card. A unique, segregated flow, ventilation design with dual redundant Maglev fans keeps the electronics dust free for long term reliability, and ensures fail safe 24/7 operation for extended durations. The slim 270mm (W) x 182mm (D) x 37mm (H) chassis enables the unit to disappear into tight spaces behind wall mounted display.
