Couldn’t make it to the Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas booth at the Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) Minneapolis Show? That’s okay – Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT) will come to you.

Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas (EMA) is bringing a taste of the show to its Web site, offering four brief video versions of what it exhibited on the show floor including a low-power Atom processor convenience kit; a high brightness LED color controller to manage color mixing for LED string lighting; value-added services and solutions for custom cable, thermal management, power, subassembly integration, and motor modifications; and supply chain services. The videos are available at: www.em.avnet.com/mdmminn2009.

“These videos highlight just a few of the product and service offerings Avnet has for the medical community. And since not all of our customers can make it to the MD&M Minneapolis show, we believe the videos are a great way to share this information with them,” said Chuck Delph, senior vice president of sales for Avnet EMA. “These videos give them a brief window into resources and tools Avnet offers to help them cut costs and speed their time to market.”
