Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), Cranston, RI, has just announced its new Model 8081 RJ45 A/B/C Network Switch with certified Category 5 compliance. This compact 3-position switch allows the user to reroute data between the three networks with the simple turn of a knob. No external power required!

Supporting all 8 pins of the RJ45 interface and transparent to data format, the M8081 is rated for 10/100 Base-T networks (up to Cat 5). Model 8081 also features a high quality sealed switch with self wiping contacts. No need for unplugging and plugging cables, therefore eliminating connector wear. All this is compiled in one convenient, aluminum desktop case, with EMI/RFI shielding.
