What is GreenSpeed?

GreenSpeed is AAEON's answer to demand for products that are fanless in operation, use less power and provide high performance; yet protect our environment.

The GreenSpeed family is the result of combining high performance computing and the need to be environmentally friendly in today's world. Using lead-free and toxin-free components, AAEON has developed a group of products that meet RoHS standards and at the same time incorporate cutting edge and innovative technology. These GREEN – toxin-free and energy saving - products operate at a high performance rate of SPEED. Therefore - GreenSpeed!

AAEON has released four members of the GreenSpeed series in different form factors – the GENE-8310 (SubCompact), PCM-8150 (5.25" Compact), EMB-852T (Mini-ITX) and ETX-821 (ETX).

The GENE-8310 utilizes the newest generation Intel® Ultra Low Voltage Celeron® processor and it has the best graphics capability among current 3.5" SubCompact Boards. It supports CRT, LCD, DVI and TV-out which can meet your requirements and allows a greater variety of expansion interfaces in a very small space. Therefore the GENE-8310 is the optimum 3.5" Board for expansion capability.

The PCM-8150 is an innovative product that adopts Intel® ´s latest low power consumption platform but with excellent performance. It is carefully designed for fanless and low power consumption and for single 5V voltage input-only applications. It is the ideal choice for high performance and energy saving demands that need to be implemented with low power consumption and for pleasant multimedia presentations. For environment-friendly applications, the PCM-8150 no doubt is a perfect fit.

The EMB-852T is AAEON´s first Mini-ITX CPU module. It adopts Intel® 852GM platform to provide a high performance and low power solution. It has Mini-PCI and PCMCIA slots to provide the best expansion capability. To meet the requirement of POS/KIOSK applications, it is equipped with an onboard touch screen controller to support 4/5/8 wire resistive touch screens and 5 COM ports for multiple device connection demands.

The ETX-821 is the latest innovative ETX CPU module. It features Intel´s mobile optimized integrated graphics solution. The ETX-821 does not generate high heat which would affect its performance since it adopts an advanced mobile power management design. This makes it perfect for various embedded applications.
