SPRINGFIELD, OH, June 2006 – Rittal Corporation offers an innovative cable management system for server cabinets called Manage IT. Ideal for organization and flexibility of cables and cords, Manage IT is available in both vertical and horizontal configurations with pass-through ports for front/rear cable routing. Manage IT alleviates network problems caused by loose connections and cable damage. It also provides integral retention of cable bundles, protecting them from damage due to twisting, stretching, nicks or sharp bends that could affect signal quality and network performance. It also allows simple changes and additions, resulting in manhour and cost reductions.

With toolless assembly for quick installation, Manage IT can be mounted anywhere within the vertical trough or cabinet frame. The system accommodates a variety of toolless accessories including: quarter-turn D-ring, cable slack spool and a Velcro quarter-turn hook and loop manager.

Manage IT easily manages cables with fingers that align with the RMU spacing of a cabinet's EIA rail. The fingers have smooth, rounded edges to prevent performance degradation by protecting cables from tears and stretching. The cable management system also features large pathways for greater capacity and flexibility when managing high-density patch cables. Covers and retainers hinge left or right and can be removed for easy access. Compliant with ANSI, TIA and EIA standards, the bend radii on all system cable pathways provide added support for copper and fiber data cables.

With modular 9U sections for easy customization, the vertical manager is available in three different kit sizes including:

· 3.5 inch x 9U for 700 mm wide and 800 mm wide stand-alone cabinets and 600 wide

suited cabinets

· 7.5 inch x 9U for 700 mm wide suited cabinets

· 10 inch x 9U for 800 mm wide suited cabinets

Also available is a 19 inch x 2U horizontal manager for controlling cables and patch cords entering the patch panel and feeding to switches.
