Ambric Establishes Silicon Valley-based Sales Office for Western North America
New Sales Team Led by Jack Koplik, Western Area Director
Beaverton, Ore., – November 14, 2007 – Ambric®, Inc., a fabless semiconductor company that is shipping the world's first teraOPS-class chip that makes massively parallel software development practical for complex embedded systems, announced that it has established a sales office based in Cupertino, Calif. This office will be led by Jack Koplik, western area director, and supported by a local staff of field application engineers. Ambric is a privately-held fabless semiconductor company headquartered in Beaverton, Ore., with funding from ComVentures, OVP Venture Partners, and Northwest Technology Ventures.

About Jack Koplik
Koplik comes to Ambric from M2000, Sunnyvale, Calif., where he was vice president of sales for North America. In that position he was responsible for opening and staffing that companys North American sales office. He successfully built that office, developing a number of qualified customer leads and sales for the companys field-programmable gate array (FPGA) intellectual property (IP) products. Koplik has more than 25 years of experience in all phases of IP licensing, semiconductor sales, and marketing management with companies including Atmos/MoSys, Vweb Corporation, and CompCore/Zoran. Koplik holds a bachelors degree in computer science engineering from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix.
