Bright Computing's Denis Shestakov to Present on Distro-Independent Hadoop Cluster Management at Hadoop Summit North America 2015
Presentation focuses on knowledge needed to deploy and maintain production Hadoop clusters
San Jose, CA – Bright Computing, the leading provider of vendor-independent cluster and cloud management software, announces that Dr. Denis Shestakov will be speaking on “Distro-Independent Hadoop Cluster Management,” at the upcoming Hadoop Summit North America 2015 being held June 9-11, 2015, in San Jose, California. The presentation will be held June 9th at 5:25 in Room 212. Bright will also be announcing a series of advancements, upgrades, and enhancements to their Hadoop offerings at booth S4.
Dr. Shestakov, an experienced data engineer specializing in Hadoop cluster management solutions, will focus on the specific knowledge required to deploy and maintain a Hadoop cluster. He will review the challenges faced by Hadoop system administrators due to unintended mismatches in the numerous array of configuration parameters. After offering an overview of operations required for the deployment and ongoing management of a production Hadoop cluster, Denis will discuss an architecture for distro-independent management of Hadoop clusters. After briefly demonstrating Bright Computing’s solution for managing Hadoop clusters, Denis will be available to discuss open issues and answer questions.
