EB Assist ADTF 3 development tool improves testing, data handling for automated drive systems

(EB) has released version three of its EB Assist Data and Time-triggered Framework (ADTF) development tool for highly automated driving systems, which provides software development, testing, validation, and visualization mechanisms for the creation of advanced driver assistance systems (). EB Assist ADTF 3 improves data handling and usability over previous versions through a multi-process concept architecture that stabilizes software testing by compensating for increased complexity. Toolboxes for AUTOSAR, MATLAB, Simulink, and other automotive development tools are also available for integration with the EB Assist ADTF 3 platform.

The EB Assist ADTF framework is currently being used by global automakers, supporting features designed into current model year vehicles such as adaptive cruise control and lane assist. Capabilities in EB Assist ADTF 3 are targeted at accelerating time to market with new ADAS and safety features such as automated valet parking, lane keeping assistance, pedestrian detection, and other future systems. Migration packages are available for legacy EB Assist ADTF users, as are training courses on version 3 of the tool.

EB Assist ADTF 3 will be commercialized in January 2017. More information can be found at www.adtf-store.com.
