embedded world 2017: Synopsys hosts CodenomiCON Europe

Synopsys, Inc. has announced it will host CodenomiCON Europe, a private thought leadership event, during . On March 14th, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. CET, a group of cybersecurity experts will host a series of presentations and a panel discussion on embedded systems , focusing on three vertical markets: , transportation, and consumer devices. The event will also feature the following keynotes:

  • Dr. Gary McGraw, Vice President of Security Technology at Synopsys Software Integrity Group, will discuss the history of software security from its inception 15 years ago to a multi-billion dollar, high impact industry.
  • Graham Murphy, Security Researcher at BlackBerry, will address the importance of ensuring security in both the hardware and software of , and medical devices.
  • Dr. Charlie Miller, a leading cybersecurity researcher (formerly at Uber), will talk about the future of automotive security, including technologies such as V2X.

A medical device security demonstration analyzing vulnerabilities impacting patient safety issues will also take place during the CondenomiCON Europe.
