Green Hills Joins Continua Health Alliance
Green Hills Software has joined Continua Health Alliance, a non-profit, open industry coalition of more than 240 healthcare and technology companies collaborating to improve the quality of personal healthcare through the creation of a system of interoperable personal connected health solutions.
Green Hills Software, the largest independent vendor of safety- and security-certified embedded software solutions, announced today that it has joined Continua Health Alliance, a non-profit, open industry coalition of more than 240 healthcare and technology companies collaborating to improve the quality of personal healthcare through the creation of a system of interoperable personal connected health solutions. As a Contributing Member, Green Hills Software’s wealth of experience and knowledge in developing high assurance solutions for safety- and security-critical medical applications will help the Alliance achieve its vision of establishing an ecosystem of interoperable personal connected health systems that empower individuals and organizations to better manage their health and wellness.

Green Hills Software plans to work with its coalition partners to develop and define Continua technical guidelines for future connected health applications. In addition, Green Hills Software intends to participate in Continua’s Test and Certification Program to qualify its products and services under the Alliance. From a technology perspective, Green Hills Software will both leverage and expand the Green Hills Platform for Medical Devices, comprised of its MULTI® integrated development environment, INTEGRITY® and μ-velOSity™ real-time operating system technology, and associated middleware and services, to ensure Continua certified medical device interoperability.
Green Hills Software’s expertise in delivering high assurance software platforms and tools will bring safety and security thought leadership to Continua in order to improve the function and interoperability of medical devices.
