Dynamism, the leading online reseller of next-generation ultra-mobile PCs and related consumer electronics, announced today the arrival of the OQO model 2+,www.dynamism.com/#Product=oqo2plus.

The OQO model 2+ is the most advanced super-light PC on the market. The ultimate device for ultra-portability, the model 02+ is the first PC every released to feature a full OLED display. This particular OLED is a 5" touchscreen running at 800x480. The pixel density and color quality are fantastic, and it supports zoom-out in interpolated mode to 1024x768. (The model 02+ supports a 1900x1200 external display, as well.)

The OQO model 2+ measures 5.6 x 3.3 x 1.0in (142 x 84 x 25mm) and weighs less than 1lb (less than 450g). (The exact sub-1lb weight can vary by configuration.) To get an idea how small this is, fold a standard A4 sheet of paper (regular copy paper) into a quarter of its size; that has about the same footprint as this PC. In addition to the touchscreen, input methods include a slide-out backlit keyboard and hub-style pointing device.

Despite the size, the device features plenty of power: an Intel Atom 1.86GHz CPU, 2GB RAM, and 120GB HDD (or 60GB SSD). The optional Gobi WWAN module is a since feature that supports all major wireless networks: Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, Tmobile, etc. (Both HSDPA and EVDO are supported.)

Dynamism is pleased to announce the OQO model 2+. When purchased from Dynamism, the OQO model 2+ includes unlimited Dynamism toll-free technical support, and Dynamism Rescue Warranty service.
