Multi-Functional E1 Service Tester from GAO

2 years 9 months ago

Toronto, Canada–GAO Comm (www.GAOComm.com) is introducing its multi-functional E1 service tester (GAO2120),a digital transmission system test device intended for installation testing, engineering check and acceptance, and daily maintenance of E1 PCM lines (G.703 2Mbit/s). The tester performs channel testing, alarm analysis, fault detection and signal analysis of E1 (2Mb/s) lines.

This E1 service tester monitors any voice channel in the receiving terminal and measures signal voltage and frequency at the same time. It displays status of the transmission circuit and effectively identifies cable faults. The Test Manager Software suite allows for analysis of tests and measurements, archiving and printout; the tester connects to a PC via the serial port. The handheld and durable design makes the E1 tester easy to carry for on-spot measurements.
