Inphi® Corporation today announced that recognized business and corporate governance expert Sam Srinivasan has joined its Board of Directors. Mr. Srinivasan will provide expertise and counsel as Inphi continues to expand by delivering the industry's highest performing integrated circuits with the best signal integrity for processing high-speed data.

“Sam's profound knowledge and insight in the area of corporate governance combined with his operating experience in the semiconductor industry will be a tremendous asset to Inphi as we continue to expand our business globally and deliver the component building blocks for high-speed systems that transport, store and deliver multimedia information,” said Tim Semones, chief financial officer and co-founder of Inphi Corporation.

Mr. Srinivasan currently serves as a director and chairman of the Audit Committee for Sirf Technology Holdings, Inc., and Centillium Communications, Inc. In addition, he is a charter member of the Weatherhead School Advisory Council at Case Western Reserve University's school of management of in Cleveland, Ohio.

Throughout his career, Mr. Srinivasan has held management positions of increasing responsibility including senior vice president, finance and chief financial officer of Cirrus Logic, Inc.; director, internal audits and corporate controller of Intel Corporation; and several executive positions in the finance department, including director, internal audits, of Eaton Corporation.

Mr. Srinivasan had been a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, The Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Institute of Certified Financial Planners.

Mr. Srinivasan earned his bachelor's degree in commerce from Madras University, India and his master's in business administration with honors from Case Western Reserve University.
