Xceive Names Neil Mitchell To VP of Marketing

Mitchell is a 20-year veteran of the semiconductor and digital-TV industries, bringing to Xceive extensive experience in managing international strategy, product marketing and business development.

Santa Clara, Calif. – March 26, 2007 – Xceive Corporation, the market leader in multi-standard RF-to-baseband silicon transceivers for the digital home market, announced that Neil Mitchell has joined the company as vice president of marketing. Mitchell is a 20-year veteran of the semiconductor and digital-TV industries, bringing to Xceive extensive experience in managing international strategy, product marketing and business development.

Prior to joining Xceive, Mitchell served as vice president of TV marketing at Genesis Microchip, where he led the company’s strategy in DTV as well as all product marketing activities for related IC, software and platform products. Previously, Mitchell worked as the senior director of marketing for Zoran Corporation/Oak Technology/TeraLogic where he was responsible for all aspects of worldwide IC marketing and product requirement definition. His past experience also includes serving as international product marketing manager for Philips Semiconductors, and holding several senior managerial positions in the areas of business development, marketing and engineering at ST Microelectronics/Inmos Corporation in the U.S. and the U.K. Mitchell graduated with honors from Staffordshire University, England, with a degree in computer science.
