Avnet Electronics Marketing Executive to Present at Hi-Tech and Electronics Supply Chain Summit
Can today’s global supply chains be both agile and efficient? Lalit Wadhwa, senior vice president, global supply chain operations at Avnet Electronics Marketing, an operating group of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), will answer that question and show how Avnet has created a supply chain that is resilient and can meet today’s customer demands at the upcoming Hi-Tech and Electronics Supply Chain Summit.
Wadhwa’s talk, “How to Meet the Demands of the Impatient Consumer,” breaks down the complexities of today’s supply chains and discusses ways to meet the demands of today’s instant-gratification consumer.
“At Avnet, we’ve utilized the concepts found in fast-moving consumer goods corporations to create a supply chain model that works for today’s consumer,” said Wadhwa. “Creating a supply that can meet the needs of our customers around the world has helped Avnet maintain our position as one of world’s largest distributors of electronics components and embedded systems in the world.”
Wadhwa is a 20-year Avnet veteran based in Phoenix, Ariz. He and his team assist Avnet customers seamlessly move their supply chain from one region of the world to another, across multiple sites.
