IAR Embedded Workbench extends support to rad-hard VORAGO Technologies MCUs
UPPSALA, Sweden. IAR Systems has announced that the IAR Embedded Workbench C/C++ compiler and debugger toolchain now supports ARM Cortex-M0 microcontrollers (MCUs) from VORAGO Technologies, which are radiation hardened (rad-hard) and designed to withstand temperatures of -55 °C to 200 °C. Support will allow engineers to develop embedded applications for rugged environments in industries such as aerospace, automotive, industrial, oil and gas, and space.
The IAR Embedded Workbench toolchain is available in functional safety versions certified by TÜV SÜD according to the requirements of IEC 61508, ISO 26262, and EN 50128 for safety-critical systems.
