Lunch & Learn: Driving Innovation in Image Sensors and High-speed Analog/ Mixed-signal IC Design
Engineers share their industry experiences solving some of today's toughest challenges in thermal imaging and high speed A/MS design
MONROVIA, California – October 10, 2013 – Tanner EDA, the catalyst for innovation for the design, layout and verification of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs) will hold a Lunch & Learn seminar on Thursday, October 24th, at TechMart in Santa Clara, CA. The seminar will be moderated by SemiWiki founder Dan Nenni and will bring together industry experts and practitioners to discuss the challenges and opportunities for improving productivity in analog and mixed-signal (A/MS) IC design.
This Lunch & Learn provides an opportunity to connect with Tanner EDA customers, product managers and application engineers and to see Tanner EDA tools in action. Tanner EDA technical staff will be available to provide hands-on demos of the complete Tanner EDA A/MS and MEMS tool flow. Moderated by SemiWiki founder, Dan Nenni, the Lunch & Learn session will feature presentations by:
• Eric Kurth, Design Manager, FLIR Systems
• Lanny Lewyn, PhD, Life Senior Member IEEE and principal, Lewyn Consulting
These Tanner EDA customers will share their industry experience and expertise while discussing how they’ve solved some of today’s toughest challenges in thermal imaging and high speed A/MS design. FLIR Systems is a world leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of thermal imaging infrared cameras. Their products serve industrial, commercial and government markets, internationally as well as domestically. Dr. Lewyn is a Life Senior Member IEEE, noted author and frequent invited speaker on topics related to nanoscale analog circuit design. He was a key architect and designer for the high-speed analog designs used for data capture on the Hubble telescope.
Interactive presentations and live demonstrations will allow participants to engage in meaningful dialog and to go away with valuable insights, ideas, and answers. Attendees will learn from industry experts, seeing the practices and techniques used to overcome challenges in high-speed and image sensor design. Discussions will cover A/MS design, layout, and verification methodologies that offer high productivity and interoperability across custom/analog and digital design environments.
All attendees are eligible to enter into a drawing for a Google Nexus 7 Android tablet.
