Luxoft AllView II automotive cockpit showcases future of IVI

NEW YORK – Luxoft Holding, Inc has unveiled AllView II, a second-generation automotive cockpit reference design platform that demonstrates the company’s vision of in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) technology for future autonomous drive, connected car, and automotive Internet of Things (IoT) designs. The AllView II technology demonstrator exhibits digital cluster, infotainment, driver monitoring, and connected services features within a GENIVI-compliant integrated human machine interface (HMI) software architecture and framework, and will be on display at various industry events over the next six months.

The AllView II showcases evolving in-car user experience (UX) concepts, such as the ability to transition between user control and autonomous driving mode on the same user interface (UI) through a workload-adaptive Car-2-X HMI, as well as an agile messaging co-pilot that provides the ability to safely respond to social media while driving. Other advanced integrations include natural language understanding and text-to-speech; gesture recognition; and control and driver monitoring through eye tracking. Wireless device, telecoms, and cloud services are also incorporated into the reference platform.
