PCE Instruments’ production and development branch is currently working on a new combined data logger. The multi-functional device will be launched in the near future and will be part of a series of data loggers.

The upcoming portable PCE-DAL logger will be able to measure vibration, light, barometric pressure, temperature and humidity by means of 5 internal . PCE Instruments observed high European standards when combining these 5 different functions in one single compact device. The PCE-DAL is CE and FCC marked and its case is dust and waterproof. The very tiny data logger is perfect to use in industry and science, in museums, in the construction industry and in many other sectors.

The USB interface allows data to be transferred to a microSD card (≥8 GB) or to your computer in real time or in pre-set time intervals. The data can be saved to the internal memory with a capacity of 4 MB. A software for data transmission and visualization is included in the standard package. The device comes calibrated by the manufacturer, with a certificate.

The PCE-DAL data loggers will be able to measure vibration of ±16 g, light of between 0.045 and 188,000 lux, barometric pressure of 10 to 2,000 mbar, temperatures between -30 and +70 °C (-40 to +158 °F) and relative humidity of 0 to 100 %. The sampling rate of the vibration sensor is max. 3200 Hz, all other sensors have a sampling rate of 1 Hz. The sampling rates of all different sensors can be adjusted by the user. The alarm function allows email or text messages to be sent.
