- Shipped with a wired Ethernet connection plus expansion is available for 802.11 wireless Ethernet and/or CDMA/GSM cellular modems
- Just like a standard desktop PC, a PPC2 provides a man-machine interface
- A keyboard and mouse can be used for input plus with user-specific software, the touch panel can be included as well
- This is determined by the user's application and operating environment
- Supports operating systems such as Linux and Windows XP embedded, plus real time kernels compatible with the x86 architecture
