This year, the SAME 2010 Forum and the SAFA workshop will be co-jointly organized, but with separate Calls for Papers.
And as always, technical papers, tutorials, panels’ discussion, exhibition and the University booth will be present.
The SAME 2010 Forum provides a venue for discussions and technical knowledge sharing with the opportunity to meet industrials, high-tech companies displaying and demonstrating microelectronic related products.
1 – Topics for Technical Papers, Tutorials and Lunch & Learn
The areas of interest for SAME 2010 Forum are:
System and Design
Security
Process and Manufacturing
Prototyping, Verification, Validation, Test
The SAFA’2010 Workshop focuses on all techniques around formal analysis, and more precisely:
1. Formal languages: definition, toolkits
2. Model-checking, proves
3. Simulation, testing
4. Model-driven engineering
5. Embedded systems, distributed systems, security-related systems, service-oriented architecture
6. Industrial and teaching experience
Prospective authors are invited to participate and submit their proposals for Technical Papers, Tutorials and Lunch & Learn.
2 – Notification of Schedule & Deadlines
Deadline for abstracts’ submission: April 19, 2010
Notification of acceptance: May 10, 2010
Deadline for final paper version: June 21, 2010
Deadline for final slides version (for USB key proceedings): July 20, 2010
3 – Again this year, a price will be awarded for the best University Demo!
The University Booth will be organized for:
- EDA Software Demonstrations
- Working Silicon Hardware Demonstrations
Universities, research institutes and government funded project consortia interested in demonstrating their hardware and software demonstrations are invited to fill out and return the application form.
Deadline for abstracts’ submission: May 7, 2010
Notification of acceptance: May 14, 2010
Deadline for final paper: June 21, 2010
Deadline for final Poster (for USB key proceedings): July 20, 2010

5 – Details concerning the Paper’s presentation
The presentation will be in English and should be no longer than 25 minutes with 5 minutes reserved for questions/answers.
6 – Details concerning the Tutorial’s presentation
The presentation will be in English and should be no longer than 1 hour for the full presentation including a questions/answers session.
